Die-Casting Machines
Buy Die-Casting Machines in Togliatti
LLC "PPO №3" supplies die-casting machines and automated die-casting systems in Togliatti.
Our range includes 13 models of cold-chamber horizontal die-casting machines in the TST series. Clamping force ranges from 160 to 3,500 tons.
The key distinguishing feature of the TST series is a dual-circuit, highly dynamic five-phase injection unit with an external gas intensifier, delivering excellent injection speed (up to 9 m/s) with virtually no risk of water hammer and rapid build-up of intensified pressure.
The adjustable injection system, incorporating hydraulic components from PARKER HANNIFIN, ensures control and stabilization of parameters at every stage of the injection process.
Technological Features
TST series die-casting machines feature a uniformly accelerated first phase that prevents the "reflected wave" effect. As a result, castings achieve higher density and mixing of metal and air in the injection chamber is prevented.
Metal blow-through is also eliminated when operating at maximum mold clamping force, thanks to a "controlled surge" during deceleration at the end of mold filling.
Thanks to these unique features of the production systems, you can obtain castings of any complexity — from thin-walled (from 0.5 mm) to thick-walled — meeting strict requirements for porosity and geometric accuracy.
Toggle system bushings, tie bars, and pins are manufactured in Italy using proprietary technologies. Their distinguishing characteristics are high wear resistance and reliability. In-house research and continuous monitoring of global die-casting technology trends have enabled the development of equipment whose capabilities closely match the requirements of foundry professionals.
Affordable Die-Casting Machines
Advantages of TST Series Machines
Service and Support
Ongoing repair and modernization service available.
High Reliability
Operational reliability is achieved through a rational hydraulic circuit with an optimally minimal number of standard components.
Control System
Capable of executing various mold filling profiles and tracking and storing all process parameters.
Low Power Consumption
Lower power consumption due to rational pressure distribution in the hydraulic system.
Increased Clearance
Increased distance between tie bars and greater movable platen stroke.
Extended Tie Bar Life
Longer tie bar service life achieved through an original locking design and threaded sections produced by rolling.
Compact Footprint
Smaller overall dimensions mean less production floor space required.
High Speed
High melt injection speed with no water hammer and minimal porosity in finished parts.
Die-Casting Machine Repair
Affordable Die-Casting Machine Repair
Die-casting machines are expensive and complex, yet with proper operation and timely maintenance they serve for many years. However, nothing lasts forever, and equipment eventually wears out. Studies have shown that after a quality overhaul by a specialized company, these machines will continue to operate for a very long time. Therefore, a major overhaul is more cost-effective than purchasing new equipment.
Repair Process
Modern die-casting machine repair is a complex, high-technology process. It includes:
Complete Unit Disassembly
Thorough dismantling of all assemblies and mechanisms for detailed defect inspection.
Cleaning of All Components
Professional cleaning of parts to remove contaminants, oil, and wear products.
Inspection of Parts and Assemblies
Checking integrity and operability, identifying damage and cracks.
Seal Replacement
Replacement of all sealing elements with quality parts from Simrit and Merkel.
Installation of New Components
Installation of new toggle links, tie bars, and platen slide supports.
Installation of Pins and Bushings
Installation of new pins and bronze bushings for the toggle mechanism (Italy).
Welding and Grinding
Crack welding and precision grinding of platens.
Guide Chrome Plating
Grinding and chrome plating of toggle guides, piston rods, and cylinder barrels.
Boring of Bearing Seats
Boring of bearing seats in toggle levers for pin and tie bar bushings.
Assembly and Mechanism Adjustment
Unit reassembly and adjustment of all mechanisms to specified process parameters.
Imported spare parts with extended service life are used. A major overhaul can significantly extend machine life, as weak points are specifically reinforced.
After die-casting machine repair, the customer receives equipment meeting modern international requirements, at a cost of approximately 50 to 75 percent of a new machine.
Benefits of Repair
In addition to cost savings, the customer gains further advantages:
Lower unit cost due to reduced scrap rate (no more than 2 percent)
Use of new, reliable components allows longer machine operation
Increased labor productivity through deeper automation
Lower mold changeover cost when switching product lines, thanks to an archiving system
Remote online machine monitoring and archiving of all downtime and operating data for the unit
Installation of new Parker Hannifin hydraulics reduces power consumption by 30 percent
Equipment ready for casting traceability through the ICS-TEBOWA NUR system
Maintenance costs are lower after repair
Ease of operation and straightforward personnel training
Reduced injury risk for workers
